I made my booking with them almost half year earlier. It was mapple season and I wanted to stay at GIon District to experience the authentic Japanese atmosphere. Price was double compare to normal days during mapple season.
ReplyDeleteAround 10 days before my trip through Agoda they sent an email saying that due to the hotel's mistake there will be no room available for me. They offered to relocate us to another (cheaper) hotel in other (cheaper) area. I rejected and insisted I will accept only hotels in Gion district and it is their responsible to arrange for me as it is their fault.
After few rounds of emails they just get Agoda to cancel my booking with refund, without any last apology, any compensation.
